New AMS-IX PoPs in Naaldwijk and Rotterdam are live!

The expansion to the Rotterdam-The Hague Metro region was announced three months ago and is part of the AMS-IX strategy to increase the reach of AMS-IX Amsterdam by expanding to other datacenters in key local connectivity hubs. Many large technology companies are established in the Rotterdam-The Hague region which can greatly benefit from the enhanced connectivity provided by AMS-IX. Good connectivity enables high quality Internet services like live streaming, online gaming, provisioning of business software, video calling and conferencing.

Smartdc is located in the Van Nelle factory in Rotterdam and is a regional Internet traffic hub, containing direct connections to the backbone of the Internet.
