How to connect
There are three simple ways to connect to AMS-IX
Connect directly
You can connect to AMS-IX directly at any of the colocations where we have a presence. Just follow the steps below.
What do you need to do to join us?
- Own an ASN assigned to you by a Local or Regional Internet Registry: RIPE-NCC, APNIC, LACNIC, ARIN.
- Provide a company extract that states your company’s Ultimate Beneficiary Ownership (UBO).
- Go to our customer portal
Note: AMS-IX currently has two customer portals, each for different services and different exchanges.
a/ If you would like to order Internet Peering, GRX or Anti-DDoS services:
- Sign up via AMS-IX.me
- Fill in the required information under the ‘BUY’ button
b/ If you would like to order Private Interconnect, Cloud Access, I-IPX, MMS Data Exchange or Closed User Group:
- Sign up via my.AMS-IX
- Order a connection under the ‘CONNECTION’ tab

Connect remotely at one of our EasyAccess locations
You can also connect to AMS-IX remotely from 200+ locations in Europe. We will take care of the IP transport for you.
What do you need to do to join us?

- Contact us and we will get back to you with an EasyAccess offer.
Connect remotely via a partner
Last but not least, you can connect to AMS-IX from 800+ locations worldwide via one of our partners.
What do you need to do to join us?
- Find your nearest location here.
- Contact your chosen partner directly and they will arrange a connection for you.
