We are happy to announce that we have expanded our EasyAccess footprint to over 400 locations in 14 countries in Europe. In addition, we introduced new 10GE EasyAccess prices starting from 950 EUR per month from EasyAccess enabled locations anywhere in Europe.

EasyAccess was launched in 2018 with the aim to make it as easy as possible for customers to connect to AMS-IX. The service bundles the price of the peering port with the transport into one package. By using EasyAccess, Customers do not have to create a physical network presence at a location with an AMS-IX PoP to connect to AMS-IX anymore. They only need to be at an EasyAccess location and connect via one of AMS-IX' EasyAccess transport providers to reach the 880+ networks that are connected to AMS-IX Amsterdam.

Aleksandar Mitrov, Head of Product at AMS-IX:

“The EasyAccess service is cost-effective for many companies, because in many cases your network is already situated in an EasyAccess enabled datacenter, which means you don’t need to invest in expensive physical equipment or new colocation to connect to AMS-IX. We expect that the new locations in combination with the new competitive pricing will be of great appeal to customers.”

EasyAccess was initially launched with 25+ EA locations in the Netherlands, but quickly expanded to many more locations outside of the Netherlands and throughout Europe. The latest new EasyAccess enabled locations are situated in data centres in Oslo and Warsaw. The expansion of the EasyAccess footprint follows quickly after the expansion with Maincubes in Amsterdam.
