Service Prices

Our price-structure is very straightforward, unless mentioned otherwise we just apply monthly port-prices.

According to the agreement in the 23rd General Meeting on the 21st of November 2007, the pricing below is applicable as of the 1st of January, 2008.

• No “membership fees” at AMS-IX.
  
  
• No variable charges.
  
  
• For Q-tagging, AMS-IX charges a one time set-up fee for each additional VLAN. This fee depends on the VLAN you want to participate in.
  
  
• Unless specified otherwise, the quoted prices are monthly fees and invoicing is done on a quarterly basis, which starts ten working days after the date the port has been assigned to you.
  
  
• The prices do not include the housing site fees. These charges depend on which of the co-locations you choose and they are separate from the AMS-IX fees.
  
  
• If you connect via a Partner other conditions may apply, although port prices are always in line with the AMS-IX price list below (which is established by the Association).
  
  
• All prices are in Euros per month, excluding VAT.
  
  
• We do not charge any costs for executing a port migration (relocation/upgrade/downgrade). Obviously, a change of service may affect charges.

ISP (unicast) LAN

• AMS-IX charges no set-up fee for a connection on the ISP LAN.

Multicast (MC) LAN

• The following table shows the monthly fees that AMS-IX charges for a dedicated port and the additional charge for a Q-tag on the corresponding port.
  
  
• One-time set-up fee for a Multicast Q-tag: € 250.-

Private Interconnection (PI)

• One-time set-up fee for a PI Q-tag: € 250 for each Q-Tag.
  It takes two Q-tags (2 parties) to set up this type of service.
  
  
• For the dedicated ports, fees are due per participant in the private Interconnect.
