MDX: MMS Data Exchange

AMS-IX facilitates interconnection for the Dutch mobile operators for the exchange of MMS traffic between their respective networks. The MDX is a dedicated VLAN used to exchange MMS traffic. Currently Vodafone, Telfort, T-Mobile, Orange Nederland N.V. and KPN Mobile are connected.

If you are not a member of AMS-IX yet and you wish to apply for a MDX connection, send in the “AMS-IX Entry Form” stating next to all the administrative information, which existing user group (“MDX”) will be joined.

Existing AMS-IX members can use the request form in the AMS-IX Members Service Centre to request a new port.
