Before connecting: the selection process
When you are in the selection process of which Internet Exchange you want to connect to in Europe both the Euro-IX website and Peering DB are very usefull tools in aiding your decision making. Euro-IX is an Association of European Internet Exchanges (not an exchange itself) that can give you an objective view on the chaoices available. PeeringDB is a database set-up by the peering community for easy access to peering information of networks, the networks themselve input the data on where they peer, what peering policy they have, traffic levels etcetera.
