Amsterdam joins forces for World IPv6 day

In addition to MORE IP event which includes a variety of topics relating to the expansion of the Internet including IPv6, AMS-IX has joined forces with Internet society, University van Amsterdam, Hogeschool van Amsterdam, Surfnet, NLnet Labs, RIPE NCC and IPv6 taskforce to bring about fun, awareness and celebrate World IPv6 day.

AMS-IX present at World Mobile Congress in Barcelona

In preparations for the much anticipated launch of Inter-IPX services (Interconnection of IPX networks) and Service Level Agreement (SLA), AMS-IX Governance and Policy Officer and Inter-IPX Product Manager Bastiaan Goslings will be holding meetings and presentations during the GSMA's World Mobile Congress in Barcelona this 14th to 17th of February.
The Event is one of the most attended and influential conferences surrounding the mobile industry with more then 50,000 expected visitors. Bastiaan Goslings will be joining some of our members, press and partners to elaborate on AMS-IX developments and explain how a global and neutral Internet Exchange can offer its support to the mobile industry.
