AMS-IX Decreases GE Port Prices

AMS-IX decreases prices for all Gigabit Ethernet ports from Euro 1,200/1,250 to Euro 1,000 per month per 1st of July 2006. Due to the growth in members and ports on the Exchange and associated income AMS-IX is able to take this action.

All AMS-IX pricing is cost-based and by upgrading the platform substantially to sustain the 10GE uptake the cost base for GE has decreased.
