Steps to connect to AMS-IX

Connecting to AMS-IX is quite straightforward, follow the below steps for joining the AMS-IX Association and connecting to the AMS-IX peering platform. You can either go through these steps yourself and deal with AMS-IX and the colocation yourself or you can contact one of our Partners who will arrange the membership application, colocation and connection for you.

  1. Check that you fit all the requirements for becoming a member of AMS-IX.
  2. Carefully read the AMS-IX Articles of Association.
  3. Establish an agreement with one of the AMS-IX co-locations.
  4. Fill in the AMS-IX Application Form.
  5. Allow 3 weeks for the complete connection process.
