Contribution to Society
AMS-IX performs a significant role in society by keeping an important part of the internetworking aspect of the Internet, (with access, transport and content being the other parts), ie the peering infrastructure, in first class condition at all times.
The Internet has achieved an increasingly indispensable role regarding in global information gathering and exchange, software, and service development in both business and daily life. The AMS-IX Association, the company and its representatives and employees are very aware of this role and the importance of this responsibility. We feel this is our contribution to Society and we will fulfill this even beyond the boundaries of roles and job descriptions or normal working hours.
